প্রতি বছর ৯ ডিসেম্বর তারিখে দেশব্যাপী ‘ বেগম রোকেয়া দিবস’ উদযাপন এবং ‘বেগম রোকেয়া পদক প্রদান করা হয়ে থাকে। প্রতি বছরের ন্যায় “নারী শিক্ষা, নারী অধিকার, নারীর আর্থ-সামাজিক উন্নয়ন, সাহিত্য ও সংস্কৃতির মাধ্যমে নারী জাগরণ, পল্লী উন্নয়ন এবং সরকার কর্তৃক নির্ধারিত অন্য কোন ক্ষেত্রে” সর্বোচ্চ স্বীকৃতি স্বরূপ পাঁচজন বাংলাদেশী নারীকে মাননীয় প্রধানমন্ত্রী কর্তৃক আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে বেগম রোকেয়া পদক প্রদান করা হবে।
‘বেগম রোকেয়া পদক (সংশোধিত) নীতিমালা ২০১৭’ মোতাবেক উল্লেখিত যেকোন ক্ষেত্রে অবদান রেখেছেন এমন বাংলাদেশী নারীকে পদক প্রাপ্তির ক্ষেত্র উল্লেখপূর্বক মনোনয়ন আগামী ৩১ জুলাই ২০২২ তারিখের মধ্যে মহিলা ও শিশু বিষয়ক মন্ত্রণালয়ে প্রেরণের জন্য নির্দেশক্রমে অনুরোধ করা হল। এক্ষেত্রে সফট কপি (Nikosh ফন্টে MS Word File-এ) ই-মেইলেঃ sasadmn2@gmail.com প্রেরণ করা যাবে। মনোনীত প্রার্থীকে সংযুক্ত ‘ছক’ পূরণপূর্বক আবেদন করতে হবে। আবেদনপত্র ‘ছক’ মহিলা ও শিশু বিষয়ক মন্ত্রণালয়ের ওয়েবসাইট (www.dwa.gov.bd) থেকে সংগ্রহ করা যাবে। নির্ধারিত এই ‘ছক’ ব্যতিত অন্য কোন ‘ছক’ এ আবেদন/মনোনয়ন গ্রহন করা হবে না।
‘Begum Rokeya Day’ is celebrated across the country and ‘Begum Rokeya Padak’ is awarded every year on December 9. Like every year, the Begum Rokeya Padak-2022 will be officially conferred to five Bangladeshi women by the Hon'ble Prime Minister in recognition of "women's education, women's Rights, women's socio-economic development, women's awakening through literature and culture, rural development and any other field as determined by the Government".
In this context, According to the ‘Begum Rokeya Padak (Revised) Policy 2018’, Bangladeshi women who have contributed in any of the above mentioned fields are requested to send their nominations to the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs by 31st July 2022. In this case soft copy (in Nikosh font in MS Word File) can be sent by e-mail to sasadmn2@gmail.com. The nominated candidate has to apply through the attached application form. Application form is available in the website of the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs (www.dwa.gov.bd). Applications / nominations will not be accepted in any form other than the prescribed form (table).
